Hi. Welcome to my studio Blog. This is so exciting that there is now a way to share information and update our clients continuously. As I enter my 21st year in photography, its amazing to see how much this industry has changed. What used to be done in a darkroom fifteen years ago is done on a super speed desktop computer in Photoshop. I really enjoy creating digital artwork out of my images.
Thanks to a great friend, Darrell Moll, from Norwalk, Ohio, for taking my PR photo a few weeks back. It needed an update now that I am a Canon shooter. I’ve now got the coolest and best cameras made. The workhorse camera is the Canon EOS 5d body. 13 megapixels of full-frame digital imaging. Coupled with the Canon LS series Anti-Vibration lenses, this makes for some awesome images.
So, what about me? Well, I’m married to a wonderful girl for 21 years, Linda. We’ve got two awesome boys, Evan and Eric. They are in 6th and 3rd grades. Evan plays CYO Basketball and plays the trumpet. Eric plays baseball, both outdoor and indoor, year round. And, of course, dad coaches his teams. Its crazy trying to manage all the school and sports schedules, but its fun.
I’ve been photographing weddings since 1986 and portraits since about 1990. I really enjoy the location work I do now. The world is my studio! I have been photographing business people and doctors in their offices and surroundings. I capture what the person does for a living, and show it in the image. I’ve got some really cool things planned for the high school seniors this year.
